秋风送爽，又是一年扬帆起航的开学季，杭州师范大学迎来了新一届国际新生。10月18日下午，杭州师范大学2023级国际学生入学仪式暨开学第一课在恕园3号楼107报告厅顺利举行。
In the autumn breeze, it is a new semester to set sail. Hangzhou Normal University welcomed the 2023 international freshmen. On the afternoon of 18th October, the opening ceremony and the First Lesson of 2023 HZNU International Students were held at Shuyuan 3-107 Lecture Hall.
来自世界近40个国家的230余名国际学生相聚一堂。学校国际交流合作处处长汪学磊,国际教育学院院长、国际学生管理办公室主任欧荣,国际教育学院党总支书记徐凌芸,副院长胡潭高以及阿里巴巴商学院理事会理事张佐、护理学院院长助理张晶、经济学院院长助理曾绍龙，各学院专业教师、联络员代表、国际教育学院各科室负责人出席入学仪式。此次仪式由国教院党总支副书记、国际学生管理办公室副主任马珺主持。
More than 230 international students from nearly 40 countries in the world gathered together. Wang Xuelei, Director of International Exchange and Cooperation Department; Ou Rong, Dean of School of International Education(Director of International Student Office); Xu Lingyun, Secretary of the General Party Branch of School of International Education; Hu Tangao, Deputy Dean of School of International Education, as well as Zhang Zuo, Council Member of Alibaba Business School; Zhang Jing, Assistant Dean of the School of Nursing and Zeng Shaolong, Assistant Dean of School of Economics ; the teachers representatives of the various Schools and the offices heads of School of International Education were present at the opening ceremony.The ceremony was presided over by Ma Jun, deputy secretary of School of International Education(Deputy Director of International Student Office).
在开学典礼上，学校国际交流合作处处长汪学磊首先代表杭师大向所有国际学生新生致欢迎辞。他在发言中对在场每一位国际新生讲述，在学习一门新语言，适应不同的教育体系过程中存在不确定性，但在这种挑战中同学们才会变得更有韧性、更坚强。他鼓励国际学生抓住每一个机会，大胆梦想、无畏追求，以坚定的决心和饱满的热情迎接在杭师大的新生活、新人生。
On the opening ceremony, Wang Xuelei, Director of International Exchange and Cooperation Department, firstly delivered a welcome speech on behalf of Hangzhou Normal University to all new international students. In his speech, Director Wang told every international student that there is uncertainty in learning a new language and adapting to a different education system. But it is because of this challenge that one becomes more resilient and stronger. He encouraged international students to seize every opportunity, dream boldly, pursue fearlessly and welcome their new life at Hangzhou Normal University with firm determination and enthusiasm.
而后，国际教育学院院长、国际学生管理办公室主任欧荣致辞，她用“笃志，尚行，厚生，乐学”的院训向全体国际新生提出今后学习过程中的要求和期许，希望他们认真考虑选择中国、选择杭州师范大学的初衷，在今后的学习生活中去亲历中国智造和中国速度，用心去感受中华文化和中华文明，成为一名文化交流的友好使者。
Ou Rong, Dean of School of International Education(Director of International Student Office), delivered an address, in which she put forward the requirements and expectations for new international students in the future learning with the motto of "Commitment, Noble Conduct, Life-Affirming and Joy in Learning", and hoped that they would seriously consider their intention of choosing China and Hangzhou Normal University, and experience China's wisdom and speed in the university life, as well as Chinese culture and Chinese civilisation by heart, so as to become a professional and a good student of Hangzhou Normal University and become a friendly ambassador of cultural exchange.
教师代表来自阿里巴巴商学院的赵子溢老师和来自国际教育学院的李雯静老师分别上台发言，从专业规划和汉语学习的不同角度，为国际学生们分别讲述了杭师大的校训、专业行业的发展和杭州的人文氛围。
Teacher representatives, Ms Zhao Ziyi from Alibaba Business School and Ms Li Wenjing from School of International Education, spoke on the stage and told the international students about the motto of Hangzhou Normal University, the development of the professional development trend and the humanities of Hangzhou from the perspectives of professional planning and Chinese language learning respectively.
在校生代表来自阿里巴巴商学院的印度尼西亚籍黄锦妍（KRISTIONO ANTHEA SHIFRA）和护理学院的加纳籍胜利（OWUSU JOSEPH）同学，用他们在杭师大生活、学习的亲身经历给国际学生们分享了要向目标小步前进，并且通过坚持达到所期望的目标。
On behalf of all the senior students, Kristiono Anthea Shifra(Indonisia) from Alibaba Business School and Owusu Joseph(Ghana) from School of Nursing shared their personal experiences of living and studying at Hangzhou Normal University with the international students to take steps forward evryday and never give up to reach goals.
发言的新生代表分别是来自经济学院的乌兹别克斯坦籍UMAROV DILSHODBEK，信息学院的摩洛哥籍学俊（LAMJARED SALAHEDDINE）和国际教育学院的越南籍冯艳琼（PHUNG DIEM QUYNH）。他们表示将充分利用在杭师大学习的机会，学好专业知识、学好汉语，沟通和传播两国文化，努力成为一名友好交流大使。
The freshmen representatives were UMAROV DILSHODBEK (Uzbekistan) from School of Economics, LAMJARED SALAHEDDINE (Morocco) from School of Information Science and Technology and PHUNG DIEM QUYNH (Vietnam) from School of International Education. They said they would make full use of the opportunity of studying at Hangzhou Normal University to learn professional knowledge and Chinese language, communicate and spread the culture of the two countries, and endeavour to become an ambassador of friendly exchanges.
与会领导上台为国际新生代表佩戴校徽。从此启程，2023级国际新生们正式成为一名HZNUer。
Leaders wore the school badges for the representatives of international freshmen on the stage. From now on, the international freshmen of Class 2023 officially became an HZNUer.
余杭出入境胡剑方警官和仓前派出所应炜彬警官作为法制宣传员为国际学生代表颁发“校园安全宣传大使”证书，希望国际学生们在杭州师范大学度过平安且收获满满的学习时光。
Police officers Hu Jianfang from Yuhang Immigration Bureau and Ying Weibin from Cangqian Police Station, as the Legal Advocates, presented certificates of "Campus Security and Safety Ambassador" to the representatives of international students. We hope that the international students will have a safe and fruitful study time at Hangzhou Normal University.
新生入学仪式结束后，由国教院党总支副书记马珺展开以国情、省市情、校情及宗教观教育为主题的新生第一课，为国际学生们了解中国、知晓浙江、体味杭州打开了第一扇门。
After the opening ceremony, Ms Ma Jun, Deputy Secretary of School of International Education, started the First Lesson for the new students with the theme of A Glance at China, Zhejiang, Hangzhou and Study at HZNU and an outlook of religiou education. It opened the first door for international students to know China, Zhejiang and Hangzhou.
此次2023级国际新生入学仪式暨开学第一课，是疫情结束后杭师大首次大规模线下报到迎新，学校职能部门和各二级学院的参与体现了学校对国际学生教育和管理工作的高度重视，同时希望通过新生始业教育，帮助国际新生能够更快更好地适应在华学习生活，在校期间能够自觉遵守校纪校规，在顺利完成学业的同时，了解中国文化与国情的理解和感知，促进中外文化交融，构建学校国际交流合作新格局。
This 2023 International Freshmen Opening Ceremony and the First Lesson is the first large-scale offline welcoming of Hangzhou Normal University after the epidemic. The participation of the departments of the university and various Schools reflects that the university attaches great importance to the education of international students and at the same time, we hope that through the orientation class, the new students will be able to adapt to the study and life in China, understand and perceive the Chinese culture while completing their studies smoothly, promote the blending of Chinese and foreign cultures, and build a new pattern of international exchange and cooperation at HZNU.
